About
Jessica Larsen, Architect
Hi! I'm Jessica, founder of cJem Designs, licensed architect, and LEED-accredited (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) professional with a passion for sustainable design. For much of my early career I worked for architecture firms in the Washington D.C. and Northern Virginia area specializing in public, multifamily, mixed-use residential, and interior commercial design projects. While I enjoyed the variety of these large projects, I soon discovered what truly motivates me is working closely with enthusiastic individuals and families on smaller personalized residential projects and integrating sustainable design into the overall architectural design process. With this focus on sustainable residential design in mind, I founded cJem Designs in 2013 after moving to the beautiful mountain community of Asheville, North Carolina.
Whether you're a homeowner looking to build a custom home or revamp your current living space, or you're a builder or developer seeking efficient attractive designs to improve your spec house inventory, we specialize in providing these services to the Western North Carolina community and would be happy to provide you with a free design consultation.
In addition to being a designer, I enjoy CrossFit, yoga, and running the trails of Asheville, North Carolina, where I live with my husband, Chris, and our two sons, Ethan and Miles.
